About The Event
Amateur 2 Pro is more than a basketball league; it’s a youth development program designed to help young athletes grow on and off the court. Serving boys and girls ages 8–15, Amateur 2 Pro provides a positive environment focused on mentorship, social development, career & trade readiness, health & wellness, and basketball skill development.
Held every Friday at the Cyril Allgeier Community Center, participants are grouped by age and skill level to ensure quality instruction, confidence building, and personal growth. Younger athletes ages 8–11 focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and discipline, while ages 12–15 develop advanced skills, technique, leadership, and game IQ.
At Amateur 2 Pro, we believe sports can open doors and change lives. Through mentorship, structure, and community support, we are preparing the next generation to succeed in sports, school, careers, and life.
